This past weekend, I had an amazing camping trip with my coworker and their families. We decided to escape the hustle and bustle of Seoul and headed to the famous Jungbawi Camping Site in Gapyeong. Nestled in the lush Jungbawi Valley, this campsite is a hidden gem among campers. From the moment we arrived, I was struck by the stunning natural scenery. Jungbawi Camping Site is surrounded by a refreshing and clean valley, with towering trees providing plenty of shade. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the crystal-clear valley water. It was so refreshing, and the kids had a blast playing in it. It’s an ideal place for family camping trips, especially during the summer. You can bit of fishing. Now, there’s one thing to note: you can’t park your car right next to the campsite. Last weekend, the craving for a spontaneous escape took hold of us. With a burst of excitement, we quickly booked a camping spot, loaded our gear, and set our course for Pocheon. Just an hour and a half away from Seoul, we were heading to a hidden gem—a 50,000-pyeong camping site nestled among valleys and pine trees, the largest of its kind in Gyeonggi Province. we were greeted by the serene beauty of Campsite, which also features cozy pensions for those who prefer a bit more comfort. The clean, flowing stream was the perfect backdrop, promising cool, refreshing fun during the hot summer days. As we walked through the site, we couldn't help but be enchanted by the forest pathways, filled with the invigorating scent of phytoncides. Although some of the amenities have seen better days, they were still functional and added to the rustic charm of the place.
