South Korea Camping] Summer Camping Adventure in Jeju Island

Summer Camping Adventure in Jeju
This summer, we went to Jeju Island for a camping trip with my wife's best friends. Initially, we considered taking our car on the ferry, but with a little one in tow, a long drive to the southern port seemed too challenging. So, we packed up our tent and flew instead.

We met my wife's friend and her family, who came from Daegu, rented a car together, and headed to our first camping destination: Moguri Camping Ground.

Located in Seogwipo City, Moguri Camping Ground is a large-scale campground operated by the city. With 150 sites, it offers a wide range of facilities, including a well-maintained sports field, playground, fitness area, play yard, inline skating rink, and walking trails.

The sites come in various types: soil, grass, and deck. Note that it's not an auto-camping site, so we had to use a cart to move our camping gear.

After setting up our camp, we headed to a local restaurant for dinner and enjoyed the evening with Jeju soju and local makgeolli. The expansive natural beauty of Jeju and the excellent amenities at the campground made it a perfect spot for families or groups to enjoy camping.

We soaked in the stunning scenery and enjoyed all the comforts and activities Moguri Camping Ground had to offer. Whether you're there for the playgrounds, the scenic walks, or just relaxing with some local drinks,

this campground has everything you need for a fantastic camping experience in Jeju.
