South Korea Camping] Memorable Experience at Gangseong Experience Camp
Our trip to the Gangseong Experience Camp was an unforgettable adventure, especially for the kids who had the time of their lives. This campsite, though not an auto camping site, offered a unique and delightful experience. Located at the foot of a mountain, it provided fresh air and a vast grassy field for endless fun.
Unlike typical gravel campsites in Korea, Gangseong Experience Camp features lush grass sites. While you can't park directly at your campsite, the walk from the parking area with a cart for your gear is a small price to pay for the beautiful setting. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are perfectly serviceable, and the overall experience more than makes up for it.
The children absolutely loved the open space and fresh air. They spent their days running around the wide grassy field, catching insects, playing baseball, and flying kites. Each activity was met with laughter and excitement, making it a perfect playground for young adventurers.
Cooking and dining together outdoors was a highlight for everyone, with delicious food and great company.
No camping trip is complete without roasting marshmallows over a campfire. The kids loved making s'mores and toasting marshmallows to perfection.
The evening ended with a sparkling display of fireworks. The children’s faces lit up with joy as they played with sparklers, adding a magical touch to the night.
Gangseong Experience Camp may not offer the convenience of parking right at your campsite, and its facilities might be a bit old-fashioned, but these small inconveniences are easily overlooked. The charm of camping on soft grass, the clear mountain air, and the endless activities for kids made our stay truly special. If you're looking for a campsite that offers a break from the ordinary, Gangseong Experience Camp is definitely worth a visit. It's a place where kids can be kids, and families can create lasting memories together.
