Japan Camping] Our Tsushima Island Camping Adventure at Aso bay park auto camping gound.

On the second day of our Tsushima Island adventure, we checked out from our campsite and headed to the nearby Watatsumi Shrine.
This shrine is dedicated to Toyotamahime and Hikohohodemi, the grandparents of Japan's first emperor, Emperor Jimmu. Situated by the sea, Watatsumi Shrine offers a unique atmosphere that changes with the tides.

It’s one of Nagasaki Prefecture's recommended tourist spots, and we could easily see why.

After exploring the shrine, we made our way to Izuhara for lunch at one of Tsushima’s famous eateries, Kiyo.
The meal was delightful and fueled us for the journey to our second camping destination, Aso Bay Park Auto Camping Ground
The bus dropped us off a bit far from the pickup point, which led to some whining from our little one,
but the campsite staff came to our rescue with a truck.

Despite the grass needing a bit of trimming, our tent setup on a deck went smoothly.

We savored some newly purchased beer and fresh Watermelon before exploring the campsite.⛺

There was a charming two-story wooden building where the first floor housed shower facilities and the second floor served as a lounge. It was a cozy space where children could draw or play with toys.

Aso Bay Park also offers a variety of activities.

The meet Ranch within the park provides Taishuuma horse riding experiences,
native breed of horse from Tsushima Island in Japan.

and you can enjoy canoeing on the pond.

The surrounding Genkai Tsutsuji Forest is perfect for a pleasant walk.

Genkai Tsutsuji is known for the beautiful pink flowers, which are the city flower of Tsushima.

As we wandered around and took in the sights, we eventually got hungry.

We enjoyed some Japanese cup noodles and brewed drip coffee while playing with a Rubik's cube.

As the sun set, we lit a campfire and had a delicious barbecue, marking the end of our second day on Tsushima Island.

The day was filled with exploration, relaxation, and quality family time, creating more wonderful memories to cherish from our Tsushima camping trip.
