South Korea Camping] Halloween Camping Adventure at Elim Campground in Hongcheon
Last weekend, we headed to Elim Campground in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, to celebrate Halloween with my wife and child.
It was the last weekend of October, the perfect time for a Halloween camping party.
We arrived late at night and settled in quickly. The next morning, we woke up to a frosty surprise; the late autumn chill of Gangwon-do had left a thin layer of frost on the ground.
Despite the cold, we were excited to start our Halloween preparations.
We spent the early hours setting up our Halloween decorations. Ghosts, bats, and spider webs adorned our campsite, creating a spooky atmosphere perfect for the holiday.
The campground had provided pumpkins for a Jack-o'-lantern contest, so we got to work carving our pumpkin masterpiece.
The crisp morning air only added to the eerie, festive feeling.
As evening approached, we handed out candy to the children at the campground, delighting in their excited reactions.
After the trick-or-treating, we gathered with other campers to light sky lanterns. Watching them float into the night sky was a magical ending to a fun-filled day.
Our Halloween weekend at Elim Campground was an unforgettable experience.
